Limo Vancouver
It sure is hot in the Vancouver Limousine Office today, got all the doors and windows closed to trap out the heat, got 3 fans blowing at me, I'm stripped down to my t-shirt and shorts, and I'm still sweating! Man, I wish I were outside... at the beach or something instead of working today. Haha, hope my boss doesn't see this!!

Vancouver Graduation Limousine
Grad season
Wow, I had absolutely no time to post for the past few months!
Know why? 'Cause the months of April, May, and June = graduation season; crazy kids booking a Vancouver Graduation Limousine for their prom and then going to party after, makes me wish that I was young and carefree again! Even though it has been really hectic, it's also been really fun and now that the grad season's over, it's wedding season all summer! My favourite time of the year since there's lots of money to be made ;)

States
Hey guys,
I'm back again! I took a few days off work and went to the United States of America with my family for some shopping! On Friday I started my trip off by going for breakfast at a Dim Sum restaurant. After dim sum, we drove to the border and had to wait two hours for the line-up :-( that totally sucked, lol, but during that time I went into the duty free store to check out the stuff. They had a lot of alcohol on sale :P bought 3 bottles of Crown Royale for just $55! No tax and stuff like that. After the two hour wait, we drove to the Seattle Premium Outlet, I was like "OMG! I'm gonna shop like crazy!" but turns out, there weren't an good sales :-(! What is this?! It's like there isn't an economic recession at all.. I mean, the parking lots were full and there were sooo many people in the stores, I had to wait at least 15 minutes to make purchases, so after buying a hoodie, some jeans, and a t-shirt, I gave up trying to fight the crowd. I couldn't even look for a new suit for my job at Vancouver Limousine! Later on, drove to the Black Angus for a steak dinner. I had the New York Strip Sirloin for just $22 (not including tax & tip of course). After dinner, stayed at a nearby hotel called Embassy Suites and sweet! They had reception when I arrived, so I got to drink free wines and caesers ;) (well I paid lots of tips). The next morning, had a complimentary breakfast! Wow, it was a total buffet. Spent the rest of the day shopping around at the malls. Stopped by the Tulalip casino and guess what? I won $200 US! Sweet, eh? But after a few rounds on the slot machines, I had to be dragged away by my parents -- guess they don't want an addicted gambler in the family.

Went to Vancouver Limousine to pick up some work tonight, and wow! I have 5 jobs. Tonight is very busy. My first job is a pick-up in Vancouver and I have to take some people to the airport. The rest are short transfers to and from one place to another. Looks like I can't go home and sleep until 4 AM -- just like last week again.
Time for me to get going for my first pick-up!
Don't want the clients to be angry

Limo Vancouver
January 26th 2009
Today, work at Classic Limousine was slow. Because the phone hardly rang and all the paperwork had been done the day before, I got stuck outside washing the limo. I wasnt expecting to go outside so I was wearing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. Needless to say, it was freezing. Afterwards we got a call from Vancouver Limousine. They wanted to know if one of our vehicle were available to do a job for them since they had their car put in a shop for repair. We were happy to accept their job.

Happy Chinese & Vietnamese New Years
Back at Vancouver Limousine again.
Had quite a few jobs last night, all the clients I transferred were Chinese. Good thing they were! Lots of them offered me some food, like rice and desserts. I even got some extra tips when I spoke a few words of Chinese - Gong Hei Fat Choy - they gave me a few "red envelopes." Had to do a 3:00 AM pick-up at a club on Davie for a couple of drunk guys.
Glad the snow and ice are all gone! I remember driving to Whistler was a scary ride for me. Good thing nothing happened to me or my limos, though I was stuck in traffic accidents quite a few times. Hope more events come up, since we're entering an economic recession and I might go broke. Ha-ha.

Slow Season
Well Vancouver Limousine and all the other limo companies in Vancouver are slow this year. What I hear is Griffin Transportation, Star and most companies drivers are all complaining that it is so slow. And February is usually a slow month most years (Yuck) :(.
Well there goes the vacation this year.

Wedding Day
Went to the Vancouver Limousine office and checked the agenda for today, holy crow! There are about 5 different couples getting married. Wow, today must be a popular day to get married. Too bad it's raining eh? I'm freezing my socks off typing this.
Looks like I'll be working all night... Awww, there goes my plans to watch the BC Lions and Saskatchewan Roughriders fight it out. Dayyuum. Oh well, I can get my buddies to record it for me :-) That's what buddies are for anyways.

Whistler Limo
Whistler Season's Starting Soon
Haven't updated for a while, I've been pretty busy. Working at Vancouver Limousine can be pretty hectic sometimes, but I'm glad they have a flexible schedule. I mean, which other company lets you have days off when you want it? Which other company has nicer people in their office? The answer is none.
Okay. The other day, I got this job, and I had to pick up some guys in the super awesome white limousine (OMG, the best car ever.. after the SUV limo!), let's call them Bob from Toronto, David, and Lester. So they were on the phone with my boss, and they're all like... Yeah, so we're going to rent the limo for 2 guys and that they ONLY have 3 suitcases and 1 set of skis (They called when they were really drunk, ugh. you could hear the catcalling and frog horn blowing in the background). When I showed up, there were SIX drunken guys! Whoa... ! Plus they had 5 sets of skis / snowboards... and over 6 suitcases that I had to carry. I called my boss about this, how they totally lied about the job. Mid-sentence, Bob grabbed the phone away from me and started yelling at my boss, then he hung up! Then the phone rung, and I grabbed the phone back. My boss spoke to me and told me if they are verbally abusive to me that I should drive the limo away and apologize.. and leave the guys behind. So I followed his instructions. I took Bob's luggage out of the limousine and ignored his yelling "What the f*ck are you doing with my [designer] suitcase that I spent thousands on?" And I spoke to him calmly and instructed that they should call Whistler Limousine and that I could not accomodate him and then I drove the limousine away. When I looked in the rearview mirror, Bob, David, and Lester were running like crazy towards a bus. Haha :)
So all in all, being a driver can be such an adventure. I love it.

Cruise Ship Season
I have had many Americans ask me how many cruise ships come to Vancouver each year, I think it is about 300 trips in total but I could be wrong. I found a site Vancouver Cruise Ship Information. It is not up to date yet but probably will be soon. I wonder how many Americans will show up this year with our dollar as it is. Will wait and see.

Whistler Limousine
Ski Season
Well it's that time of year again! Snow is falling in Whistler (Finally). I have had a few job offers, and for the the past two years I have driven for Whistler Limousine and enjoyed it very much, however, drivers are big on demand! Whistler Star Express and Whistler Limousine are hiring and have called with offers. Wow its going to be a busy season! I can totally feel it. I was told that it is taking 3 hours to get to Whistler from the airport now, dammmmnnn construction. I will have to make my mind up in the next two weeks. I guess I'll give my friend, Laura Lee, a call for help.

Vancouver & Whistler Limousine
It's raining again
Did a trip to Whistler yesterday for Whistler Limousine, still thinking I should change jobs and work for them. Rained up and down the highway. The only good part was working with Lauralee Bowie, world champion Skier. We met a lot of people and stayed at the New Four Seasons in Whistler. I got lots of calls these few days for Vancouver Limousine pricing. Boy, saw tons of skiers in Whistler now.
So I have a theory.. about the weather. It affects people's moods. When it's sunny, usually people are nice and happy. But since it's raining and snowing so much, I get some cranky customers -.- If only it were warm all the time! Oh well, who said life was fair?
Hmm lots of driving means lot of sitting around. I gotta find some time for the gym now, perhaps I'll try Georgia Athletic Club, since my beer belly's coming back, haha.

Limousine Vancouver & Whistler Limousine
This is my first post...not sure how much I will write, but I thought a blog would be a fun way to get my stories on 'paper'. Oh, I am a Vancouver limousine driver, been doing this for about 4 months now and never thought it would be so much fun.
Okay, my first post is about my recent limousine trip from Vancouver to Whistler. It was a late airport pickup at around 11pm; a couple flying in from Dallas going to Whistler for their honeymoon. Anyways when I picked them up they were like 'are you the Whistler limousine service guy?' by this time I could tell they had one too many drinks on the flight.
Anyaways, the 2 hour driver was very interesting to say the least. The kept drinking and started telling me stories about how they met at a restaurant and how they hit it off. They also told me they were going up to Whistler to go heli hiking and skiing.....very cool.
The night ended with a very nice $50 US tip, plus an invite to join them in the hot tub at their hotel.....which I would have accepted a few months ago, but I need this job for now to pay some bills (this will probably make a good post or two).
