Whistler Limousine

Ski Season

Well it's that time of year again! Snow is falling in Whistler (Finally). I have had a few job offers, and for the the past two years I have driven for Whistler Limousine and enjoyed it very much, however, drivers are big on demand! Whistler Star Express and Whistler Limousine are hiring and have called with offers. Wow its going to be a busy season! I can totally feel it. I was told that it is taking 3 hours to get to Whistler from the airport now, dammmmnnn construction. I will have to make my mind up in the next two weeks. I guess I'll give my friend, Laura Lee, a call for help.

Vancouver & Whistler Limousine

It's raining again

Did a trip to Whistler yesterday for Whistler Limousine, still thinking I should change jobs and work for them. Rained up and down the highway. The only good part was working with Lauralee Bowie, world champion Skier. We met a lot of people and stayed at the New Four Seasons in Whistler. I got lots of calls these few days for Vancouver Limousine pricing. Boy, saw tons of skiers in Whistler now.

So I have a theory.. about the weather. It affects people's moods. When it's sunny, usually people are nice and happy. But since it's raining and snowing so much, I get some cranky customers -.- If only it were warm all the time! Oh well, who said life was fair?

Hmm lots of driving means lot of sitting around. I gotta find some time for the gym now, perhaps I'll try Georgia Athletic Club, since my beer belly's coming back, haha.

Limousine Vancouver & Whistler Limousine

This is my first post...not sure how much I will write, but I thought a blog would be a fun way to get my stories on 'paper'. Oh, I am a Vancouver limousine driver, been doing this for about 4 months now and never thought it would be so much fun.

Okay, my first post is about my recent limousine trip from Vancouver to Whistler. It was a late airport pickup at around 11pm; a couple flying in from Dallas going to Whistler for their honeymoon. Anyways when I picked them up they were like 'are you the Whistler limousine service guy?' by this time I could tell they had one too many drinks on the flight.

Anyaways, the 2 hour driver was very interesting to say the least. The kept drinking and started telling me stories about how they met at a restaurant and how they hit it off. They also told me they were going up to Whistler to go heli hiking and skiing.....very cool.

The night ended with a very nice $50 US tip, plus an invite to join them in the hot tub at their hotel.....which I would have accepted a few months ago, but I need this job for now to pay some bills (this will probably make a good post or two).
